I live in Edinburgh in a nice apartment. I recently shifted from India and I am already in love with this city. On weekends, I like to visit the City Centre just to watch people performing on the street.
I am a beginner in Contemporary Dancing. I love watching Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

I work in a subfield of Artificial Intelligence known as Natural Language Processing. Natural Language Processing aims to make computers understand any piece of text, short or long, tweet or essay as well as try to produce new text that humans can understand.
Problems in natural language processing are exciting and often include very cool applications like summarization, question answering, and building chat-bots!My current work looks at how can we make computers understand one language say English and reply in another language say German!

My Typical Day:
My typical day is spent entirely at the university staring at two huge computer screens 🙂

When the times are normal, I hop on a bus and travel to the university. I will first check my emails, then grab a cup of tea and have a small chat with my fellow cohort students. Depending on the day of the week, I then attend a reading group where we discuss the latest research. After that, I spend some more time reading on the latest research and think of new ways to design experiments. Lunchtime! We share light banter and stories during lunchtime. I then head back to my desk, try to code the new experiments and run them on a device. My experiments take at least one day to finish.
I also attend classes in the afternoon to improve my knowledge. Around 6 pm, I head back to my home 🙂
Sometimes, we go out for dinner or attend a pub quiz!Pictures of my desk:
