Question: What made you decide to become a research assistant in this field?

Thank you for your question. Before I became a research assistant with the CAMARADES group, I did my undergraduate degree dissertation project with them. Doing this project gave me a good idea of the things I enjoyed (systematic review, data science, machine learning, and text mining). When I graduated, I knew I wanted to continue working and learning in this field. I asked my dissertation supervisor if this was possible and they offered me a job! Whilst I’m working as a research assistant now, I am applying for PhD funding so that I can move up further in this field.
